What is the model lineup?

Four different trim levels are offered with the 2020 Gladiator. The first is Sport, which features a fold-down front windshield, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel, a convertible folding soft top, an 8-speaker audio system, voice control capability, removable doors, 17-inch steel wheels, cruise control, Bluetooth, a 5-inch central display, all-season tires, a rearview camera, manual door locks and mirrors, and crank windows. Another option is Overland, which adds side steps, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 110-volt outlet, automatic headlights, a 7-inch infotainment system, body-color wheel arches, LED ambient footwell lighting, 18-inch alloy wheels, and tinted rear side and rear windows. The most off-road oriented model is Rubicon. This model adds locking front and rear differentials, body-protecting rock rails, fenders with increased clearance, all-terrain 33-inch tires, skid plates, a different transfer case, Fox shock absorbers, and an electronically disconnectable front stabilizer bar.

What kind of power is available?

In order to give you the off-roading capabilities you want, Jeep is first offering the Gladiator with one standard engine. This engine is a 3.6-liter V6, generating 260 lb-ft of torque and 285 hp. Along with this engine is either a standard six-speed manual transmission, or an available eight-speed automatic transmission. The fuel economy is around 17 mpg city and 22 mpg highway. Later on, Jeep will release the EvoDiesel 3.0-liter V6. This diesel option will get you 442 lb-ft of torque and 260 horsepower while connected to the eight-speed automatic transmission. When you think about towing, a Class II bumper hitch will provide you with up to 4,500 pounds of towing capacity!

What kind of safety features can I expect to find?

Jeep gives you a pickup truck with amazing capabilities, including the safety feature selection. While the standard high-strength steel chassis is most definitely worth talking about, we're excited about some of the available features! These features include a ParkSense rear park assist system, blind-spot monitoring, a tire pressure monitoring system, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, and rear cross path detection. You'll also enjoy a standard ParkView rear backup camera to help whenever you're in a busy parking lot, or just trying to get out of your driveway.
