Bundy Hill Off Road Recreation LLC
Bundy Hill Off-Road Recreation is one of the most popular off-road parks near Detroit and can be found in Jerome, approximately an hour and a half from Detroit. Spread across more than 300 acres, Bundy Hill has trails marked in green, blue, black, and red. While green trails are the easiest, blue trails are for intermediate 4x4 drivers, while black trails are for experts only. The red-marked trails are exclusive to buggies, and modified factory vehicles are not permitted. In addition to the different levels, you can choose different types of terrain, including rock challenges, hill climbs, wooded trails, and mud.
Holly Oaks ORV Park
Holly Oaks Off-Road Vehicle Park is less than an hour outside of Detroit and provides off-road enthusiasts with a wide variety of terrain for off-roading novices, intermediates, and experts spread across roughly 235 acres. It offers old sand and gravel pits, rock crawls, steep hill climbs, water crossings, and more. Holly Oaks ORV Park is only open during daytime hours, but there is camping nearby. Additionally, all vehicles must be equipped with a whip flag for safety purposes when visiting the park.
The Mounds ORV Park
The Mounds Off-Road Vehicle Park is in Genessee Charter Township, approximately an hour and a half away from Detroit. All off-road vehicles are welcome at The Mounds, from Jeeps and trucks to quads and dirtbikes. It's a great one-stop spot for beginner off-roaders or experts. Over nine and a half miles of trails take you through the woods, over rocks, across sand, and through lots of mud! The Mounds features numerous zones, allowing you to pick which features you want to try. For example, zone 1 and zone 4 feature a sand scramble, which is a large clearing in the woods with deep mud puddles, spanning eight and five acres, respectively. Additionally, zone 3 features numerous rock crawls for all skill levels. In zone 4, you can find challenge courses, which are designed to challenge off-road vehicles and their drivers.
