Trim Levels of the 2021 Ram 1500

Presented by Westborn CDJR

The Ram 1500 is a well-known and well-loved full-sized pickup that's sturdy, powerful, and built to last. Now in its 2021 model year, Ram presents a stunning lineup of new 1500 models, featuring a brand-new TRX trim that's impressively fast and astonishingly powerful. The TRX tops off the 1500's six other trim levels, the Tradesman, Big Horn, Rebel, Laramie, Longhorn, and Limited. The 1500 lineup is available in two configurations; either the quad cab with its 6-foot 4-inch bed, or the Crew Cab which has a 5-foot 7-inch bed, and a bit more legroom for the rear seats inside. There are also a few powertrain options that vary based on which trim level you choose. Continue reading below to learn more about each trim level of the 2021 Ram 1500!

Tradesman

The Tradesman is the base-level trim for the 2021 Ram 1500, and provides all the essentials you need to get the job done, as well as a solid offering of standard features. The Tradesman is only available as a Quad Cab, meaning it comes with the longer 6-foot 4-inch flatbed, and you get your choice of either rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. The standard powertrain option includes a 3.6-liter V6 engine with an eTorque hybrid system for improved fuel economy and smooth stopping and starting, though a V8 and turbodiesel V6 are also available for an extra boost in power. Additional features of the Tradesman include 18-inch steel wheels, trailer sway damping, and a 5-inch touchscreen. This truck is straightforward and practical, for those who want a reliable option without too many frills.

The Big Horn also features the available Uconnect 5 infotainment system, which is its latest model and is said to perform five times faster than the previous generation. Other options for the 1500 Big Horn include either an 8.4 or 12-inch touchscreen, your choice of a Quad Cab or Crew Cab configuration, and available V8 or turbodiesel V6 engines in place of the standard 3.6-liter V6.
